About Ignite

What does Ignite do?

Ignite is AI software that works on your Google Ads account, under your control. It reads your account, finds what is wasting money and what could work harder, and makes changes within the limits you set: blocking searches that waste money, adjusting bids, pausing things that do not work, and writing new ads for you to approve.

It never changes a budget. It recommends budget changes, and only you can make them. Every change is shown in the app, emailed to you, and most can be undone in one tap.

What does Ignite not do?

It does not go beyond the limits you set. It never touches your Google billing or payment details, who has access to your account, or your conversion tracking. It does not create new campaigns, change locations or change ad schedules without asking you. It does not give legal, tax or financial advice. And it does not guarantee results: nothing can.

Is a person looking at my account?

No. Ignite is fully automated software, with no people involved. Nobody at DPOM reviews your account, checks the changes or watches your results. You are in control: you set the limits, and you can freeze Ignite or undo any change it makes at any time.

Can Ignite make mistakes?

Yes. AI can misread data, make a change that does not work, or make a change other than the one it describes. That is why you set the limits, why you can freeze Ignite or undo its changes in one tap, and why every change is emailed to you from Google's own record, so you always see what actually happened. Ignite also watches each change and reverses it by itself if the thing it was meant to improve gets worse.

Who is responsible for my account?

You are. Ignite is a tool that helps you run your Google Ads. You stay responsible for your account, your ad spend and your ads, including checking that the claims in your ads are true before you approve them. The terms of service set this out in full.

Who makes Ignite?

DP Online Marketing Ltd (DPOM), a Google Partner, registered in England and Wales, company number 07767923. Ignite is for businesses in the UK and the US.

Control and safety

How do my limits work?

On the Controls screen you set the most any campaign can spend in a day and the most the whole account can spend in a month. Ignite can never go above these. You also choose, for each kind of change, whether Ignite does it automatically (Auto) or asks you first (Ask me). Changes to your limits that could raise spend need a code we email to you.

What does "Ask me" mean?

For any kind of change set to Ask me, Ignite prepares the change and waits. You see what it wants to do, why, and the before and after, then tap Approve or Decline. Budget changes, new campaigns and changes to locations or schedules always ask you. Ignite never changes a budget itself.

What does the Freeze switch do?

Freeze stops all changes straight away. It is on every screen and needs one tap. While frozen, Ignite keeps reading your account and reporting, so you still see your results. Turning Freeze off needs a code we email to you, so it cannot be switched back on by accident.

How do I undo a change?

Every change Ignite makes has an Undo button, in the app and in the change email. One tap puts that setting back to where it was. The undo is itself recorded in your activity log and emailed to you.

Does Ignite ever undo its own changes?

Yes. Each change is watched for a period afterwards, usually 7 days and longer for quieter accounts. If the thing it was meant to improve gets worse beyond a set amount, Ignite puts it back and tells you. If that happens 3 times in 14 days, your account moves to Ask me for everything until you turn Auto back on.

Why is every change emailed to me?

So you always know exactly what has changed on your account. The email is built from Google's own record of the change, not from what Ignite meant to do, so if the two ever differ you see it straight away. Changes made by you or anyone else in Google Ads are included too, marked as not made by Ignite.

Can I turn the change emails off?

No, and nobody else can either. They are how you stay in control of an account that software is changing. If the emails cannot reach you, for example because they are bouncing, Ignite stops making changes until that is fixed.

What if Google recorded a different change from the one Ignite planned?

The change email says so clearly, and your account moves to Ask me for everything until you turn Auto back on. You can undo the change from the email or the app.

Someone else also works on my Google Ads account. Is that a problem?

It can be, because two sets of hands can work against each other. Ignite sees changes made by anyone else and never reverses a change a person made in the last 14 days. If Google is set to apply its own recommendations automatically, we suggest turning that off, so the only automatic changes on your account are ones you can see and undo in Ignite.

Setting up

What do I need to start?

Your own Google Ads account. You keep owning it and paying Google directly; Ignite asks to be added as a manager. Then you answer the questionnaire and set your limits.

What is limited mode?

Ignite needs a few things in place before it works on bids and recommends budget changes: at least 30 days of results (or a campaign Ignite built), at least £300 a month of ad spend ($400 in the US), conversion tracking that is set up and recording, and auto-tagging switched on. Until then it runs in limited mode and only blocks searches that cost money and bring nothing. The Tracking screen shows what is missing.

My tracking is not working. Will Ignite fix it?

Ignite never edits tracking itself, because tracking is how your results are measured and it should stay in your hands. It tells you what is wrong, gives you a step-by-step guide for your website, and the chat can walk you through it.

Can Ignite build a campaign from scratch?

Yes. Fill in the questionnaire (what you sell, where, when you are open, what a customer is worth, what you want to claim and what to avoid) and Ignite builds a search campaign: keywords, ads, blocked searches, locations, schedule and budget. You see it in full, as it will run, and it only goes live when you tap Go live.

Where do the claims in my ads come from?

From your own website, or from claims you have ticked as true in the questionnaire. Next to each line of an ad you can see where it came from. Ignite also leaves out any competitor names you list. You are responsible for your claims being true, so check each ad before you approve it.

Which businesses can Ignite not work with?

Ignite cannot advertise financial services or anything that could be a financial promotion (such as loans, credit, investments, insurance, pensions and debt help), crypto, gambling, pharmaceuticals and prescription medicines, medical treatments or medical claims, weight loss, alcohol, claims management, adult content or weapons.

In the US the terms also exclude some further categories, such as cannabis and CBD, tobacco and vaping, bail bonds and political advertising. We check your business at signup and every month. Ignite is for businesses only, and each subscription covers one business running its own Google Ads account.

Pricing and billing

Is Ignite really free?

Yes, while we launch, for the first 50 accounts, with no card needed. You get the Pro package. The free period runs until we end it, and we tell you by email before it ends. Nothing is charged unless you then choose a plan. If you do not, Ignite simply stops, and your Google Ads account is left exactly as it is.

What is different during the free period?

Every change waits for your approval. The one kind of change you can let run on Auto is blocking wasted searches.

How much does Ignite cost after the free period?

Core is £79 a month for ad spend up to £1,500 a month. Pro is £149 for up to £5,000. Scale is £249 for up to £15,000. In the US: Core $99 up to $2,000, Pro $189 up to $6,500, Scale $319 up to $20,000. UK prices exclude VAT; US prices exclude any sales tax. You pay Google for your ads directly, separately from Ignite.

What happens if my ad spend grows?

Each plan covers ad spend up to a limit. If your spend over the last 30 days is above your plan's limit at two monthly checks in a row, you get a notice in the app, by email and in the chat, telling you your spend, the new plan, its price and the date it will change. You can upgrade then, or it happens on that date. If you bring your spend back under the limit before the date, the upgrade is cancelled. One busy week never triggers it.

Can I move down a plan?

Yes. If your spend sits under a lower plan's limit at two monthly checks in a row, Ignite offers you the move down. It is always your choice.

How does the chat allowance work?

Each plan includes chat messages each month: Core 100, Pro 400, Scale 800. Past your allowance, answers come from a lighter AI model up to twice your allowance, then chat pauses until your allowance resets. Your scheduled optimisation, the protections, change emails, Freeze and undo are never affected.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time in the app. Ignite stops making changes straight away, you keep access to your dashboard and activity log until the end of the month you have paid for, and no further payments are taken. There are no refunds for part months, and ad spend is paid to Google, so it is never refunded by us.

Your data and your account

What happens to my Google Ads account when I stop?

Nothing is reversed. Your account stays exactly as it is, and it is still yours. We email you a final summary and a full export of your activity log, then remove the link to our manager account.

What happens to my data?

Your Google Ads data is used only to run Ignite for your account. It is never shown to or used for another customer, and we never sell it. Your activity log is kept for 6 years after your account ends, as the record of what was done; everything else is deleted 90 days after your account ends. Our privacy notice has the detail.

Can I get a copy of everything Ignite has done?

Yes. The activity log records every change: what changed, why, who or what made it, the before and after, and what Google recorded. Export it from the Activity screen whenever you like.
