Ignite by DPOM

Safety

Every change guarded, emailed, logged and undoable.

Ignite is automated software working on your Google Ads account. This page explains exactly what happens before, during and after every change it makes, and what it will not do at all.

01 · Before a change

Checked against your rules first.

Every change Ignite wants to make goes through a set of checks before anything is sent to Google. If one fails, the change is blocked or waits for your approval.

  • Your limits. Nothing takes a campaign above your daily ceiling or the account above your monthly maximum.
  • Your Auto or Ask me setting. A kind of change set to Ask me is prepared and waits for you to approve or decline it.
  • Budgets are yours. Ignite never changes a budget. Budget moves, rises and cuts are recommendations only.
  • Small steps. A bid or target moves no more than 15% at a time, and no more than twice a week on the same item.
  • Protects what works. Anything that brought a conversion in the last 30 days is not paused or excluded without asking you.
  • Spend pace. If today's spend is running well above normal, changes that could raise spend stop and wait.
  • The change emails are working. If Ignite cannot confirm it can tell you about a change, it does not make one.
  • Not frozen. While Freeze is on, nothing is changed.

The built-in protections are set out in the terms of service. We may make Ignite more cautious over time, never less bound by your limits.

02 · After a change

Emailed to you, from Google's own record.

Every change is emailed to you. The email is built from what Google recorded in your account, field by field, not from what Ignite meant to do.

  • What actually changed. If Google's record ever differs from what Ignite planned, the email says so, and your account moves to Ask me for everything until you turn Auto back on.
  • The whole picture. Changes made by you or anyone else in Google Ads are included too, marked as not made by Ignite.
  • Cannot be switched off. Not by you, not by us and not by the AI. If the emails stop reaching you, for example because they bounce, Ignite stops making changes until that is fixed.
  • A record you can keep. The activity log holds every change: who or what made it, why, the figures it was based on, the before and after, and what Google recorded. Export it whenever you like.

03 · Undo

Most changes undo in one tap.

One tap, from the app or the email

Changes Ignite makes carry an Undo button in Activity and in the change email. One tap puts that setting back to where it was. The undo is recorded and emailed like any other change.

Automatic undo if results get clearly worse

The keywords Ignite pauses and the bids it changes are watched afterwards, usually for 7 days and longer for quieter accounts. If what the change was meant to improve gets clearly worse, Ignite puts it back and tells you. Blocked searches you undo yourself, in one tap. Three automatic undos in 14 days and your account moves to Ask me for everything.

Ignite never reverses a change a person made in the last 14 days.

04 · Freeze

One button stops everything.

Freeze is on every screen. One tap stops all changes at once. Ignite keeps reading your account and reporting, so you still see your results. Turning it back on needs a code we email to you, so it cannot happen by accident.

05 · What it never does

Lines Ignite does not cross.

Changes a budget. It recommends; you decide.
Goes past the limits you set.
Touches your Google billing or payment details.
Changes who has access to your account.
Edits your conversion tracking.
Creates campaigns, or changes locations or schedules, without asking you.
Uses competitor names you tell it to avoid.
Reverses anything when you leave. Your account stays as it is.

06 · Your part

A tool that helps you. Your account, your call.

Ignite is software, not a person, and there are no people involved in running it on your account. AI can make mistakes: it can misread data, make a change that does not work, or make a change other than the one it describes. It does not guarantee results.

You stay responsible for your Google Ads account, your ad spend and your ads. That means setting limits you are comfortable with, reading the change emails, using Undo or Freeze if you do not want a change, and checking that every claim in an ad is true before you approve it.

The full position is in the terms of service and the fair usage policy.
